I have a Palm OS handheld application that generates a lot of data when used. This user data is backed up to the desktop whenever the user synchronizes their device. If the data is corrupted on the handheld the user would like to install the backed up data. The problem is that most users synchronize to their desktop before they realize the data on their handheld is corrupt, thus replacing the good data on the desktop with corrupt data. I need a very basic application that will backup a list of files with the name BFRx*.* from the customers handheld backup directory to a new location. My RaQ4 server gives me problems after recent install of a new virtual site. Several PHP scripts don't work anymore. Even after removing the new site, the problem remains. Looks like the server wants to redirect pages to HTTPS were this is not required. Forums point me in the directions files being corrupt. Not my cup of tea. I have taken hundreds of stock trades (60 at a time) and it comes out to the right total at the end - so my macro DOES work. When I try to do them all at once though, I get the standard error message : "The file you attempted to import appears to be invalid or contains corrupt data." Problem is that no further work is being done on the fork and it has 2 flaws. 1. The banners don't display on the site. 2. The downloads part of the script stores the files but produces a "the compressed zip file is corrupt or invalid" when trying to log into the store and download the files purchased. I have 4 Netstumbler files that were corrupted for some reason. Sometimes when Netstumbler doesn't shut down properly the file structure gets corrupted. These files can be fixed but require walking through the binary file with a HEX editor and finding the corrupt segment, removing that segment and resetting the header.
