I need someone with experience with the carindb navigation system. I have a carindb data file which is setup with uk maps for my astra cd70 siemens – VDO system. I need to put Australian maps on this navigation, a quick google search shows carindb database maps are used on multiple systems from multiple manufactures, one being early bmw. I managed to located a bmw Australian map cd which contains the carindb file and I was hoping it will work without modification by inserting it into my opel astra cd70 unit. However its been setup differently so what I need is someone to dissemble both carindb files; the uk cd70 maps carindb & the bmw Australian maps carindb and see if they can build one from two that will work on my cd70 unit as I’m in Australia and uk maps are no good to me.
