I have been doing website testing from past 2.5 years professionally and have got hands on experience in Test Plan, Test Design, End to End System Testing, Automated Testing (Selenium) and Regression Testing. I have taken a look over your assignment. The first one, would take a while to test and automate as I would like to test it with all sorts of combination and not miss any. Eg: To me an output of 4 on '10 14 18 22 8 6' seems to be a bug. The correct sequence of '6 8 10 14 18 22' rotated 4 times is "10 14 18 22 6 8". For the second one, it won't take much time to create an automation script to even test all the values between 1 and 1000. Talking about the method of automation. I am an expert in Selenium automation and would only be able to provide automation scripts with Selenium in Java. But you won't need to do much in order to execute and maintain it. Don't take any bids and don't cheat. You will learn a lot more by actually doing the problem yourself. Also, it is not fixing a bug, you need to write a test script to test that the web endpoints are doing what they are supposed to. You will be a better developer if you do the problem. Thanks and good luck. Just to be clear, if you accept my bid I will not do any work but will give you some advice and check your work if you like.

Scripts to get the returned data from the endpoint, and check with the expected results. It should be done in one day suppose the endpoint works well.
