I would like to purchase software that you have already developed. If you have developed a client and server for instant messaging for another client and are legally allowed to redistribute that software, I would like to buy it as well.
I just want the ability to install an IM server where I can add users and they can connect with a downloadable client (NOT web-based) and we can chat internally with no Internet access.
If you have developed such a product please let me know its features and how much you want for it. I will test it for 2 days and purchase it if it is suitable.
The most important feature for me is a shared global address list so that you dont have to manually add contacts, but that all users get the same contact list just like it works with email and an exchange server for example. An admin-configurable address list would be even more valuable.
Something that is extensible woud also be valuable.
