We need JAVA code that get information from email account. We have a Gmail account that we want the code to get information from. The code should know how to connect to the email directly. The code will need to parse the email to: Time, Subject, Source Address (email), content (Body). The content should have all the HTML TAGs like – Bold, links etc. We are going to use the code for google alerts and other emails. FOR Google Alerts: Time, Subject = Title, Source Site Address (the link of the title), Source Name, content (Body). If you are willing to do the inner parsing of the emails please specify and elaborate. See Example in file attached.

I've created automated email systems before. If you let me know what you want parsed out of the emails I'll do some regex work on it also. I'll return to you an object for each message with any attributes you require. Just send me a list. Would you like the email credentials hardcoded, entered by the user, or read in from a db or configuration file?

Hello, I am a senior Java developer with more than 12 years experience in distributed services. I would like to work for you on this project. The first part of the project seems straight forward, retrieving emails from an account and mapping the email attributes to a table in mysql (if I understood correctly that you will use MySql). The second part will be more hard to execute, since content scraping tend to be hard and if the provider changes the structure of the emails, the scrapping will fail. But if we consider that google alerts will not change the format very soon, I think we can create a parser for the content of the alerts too. The only thing that should be mentioned here is that it might take 1-2 days more to finish the project. If the class object to be populated with the information is already existing will just ease the development process. In order to have more processing speed, probably would be useful to launch a separate thread for each email found on the account, this way processing can be done in parallel. I will also provide unitary tests (junit) for testing this part of the application with different scenarios. best regards bogdan dalia
