Hi, I have just been working on a couple of projects with STM32 (I have a couple of Nucleos around). What device are you using? I can set the I2C and SPI ports up. Are there any libraries available for the peripherals you want to use? I am based in Australia (currently in NZ until mid march). I have over 40 years of embedded controller design starting with the 8080 and Z-80 in the 1970's. For the last 10 years I have been doing STM32 ARM development almost exclusively. Our tool suite of choice is STM32CubeMX and Atollic TrueStudio. Atollic has just been purchased by ST Micro and their previously paid professional version will be free going forward and is the preferred STM32 development and debugging environment going forward. Configuration of the candidate Nucleo boards for SPI and I2C should be very straightforward as STM32Cube has pre-configured files for each board that identify resources already used on-board. Multiple I2C devices can be accomodated either on a single bus or multiple busses. Likewise with SPI one can configure the device for a single SPI bus with multiple chip select lines or with multiple SPI busses depending on the device. We would propose creation of an example project along with sample code on how to access the I2C and SPI devices using the STM32CubeMX HAL Libraries. We could also provide support in the creation of drivers for specific parts as an add-on. All code in excess of the base code generated by the STM32CubeMX will be extensively commented. All of our programming is done in Texas by US Citizens. We are fine with executing non-disclosure agreements if necessary.

I have a good grasp of STM32CubeMX. I have developed applications for Nucleo boards(L0, L1, L4 series). I am interested in this project and will gladly hear details of its requirements.

I'm an italian electronic engineer with more than 15 years of work experience. I work as HW designer; FW and SW developer. As HW designer, I work in Altium, KiCad and Orcad and I have experience in development single MCU (Microchip PIC and ARM Cortex) boards with several digital I/O (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM,....) and some analog I/O. I design complete board: power section, MCU section, peripheral section,.... I design also boards with battery power; so I have experience in low power PCB design. I have also experience in commercial boards (Arduino, Raspberry, Beaglebone,...) shields design. I have also experience in bluetooth (both 2.0 and 4.0) PCB design. As FW developer, usually I work in C for Microchip PIC (MPLAB X + XC compilers) and Eclipse + GNU ARM for different ARM Cortex M3/M4 manufacturers (STM32Fx, NXP, SiLabs, but I'm ready to learn new frameworks). I work both single task and multi task environment (FreeRTOS and RTX). I write code both for low level driver (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM....) management and for high level/final application. I work also in "C code" commercial boards Arduino/ESP8266 and Linux embedded commercial boards (Raspberry and Beaglebone). I have also experience in bluetooth (both 2.0 and 4.0) programming.
