I would like someone to write a program for a PIC microprocessor, ideally using MPLab from Microchip technology Inc., although I would consider authors using other environments, providing the code was in C
It is to act as a watchdog and controller for an RF amplifier unit, and
The author will need to help in selecting the appropriate PIC and display for the task
Ideally the PIC should be available as a DIP profile, non surface mount to make work with the prototype easier, although if not practical, then I am open to suggestions and use a development kit from Microchip

It should interface some sort of LCD or OLED monochrome display, (typically 32 x 128 pixels) display to allow display of parameters and allow pre-set adjustment of power through a hierarchal menu system
It requires 9 analog DC voltage inputs, 1 analogue DC voltage output, 6 Logic inputs (including 3 or 4 for keypad up/down and enter) and 3 or 4 logic outputs, not including the display
Consideration should be given to the fact that a Web based GUI interface will be developed subsequently, using an additional PIC or similar platform.
The exact parameters of the input and output voltages presented to/from the IO ports are not yet fully finalised, thus the code may need modifying at a later stage, although this will be classed as extra work not in the scope of this auction.
