Superimpose Interactive City plans (AutoCAd) to Google Maps. The AutoCAD file in question has been converted from DXF to KML, however it does NOT match google maps/earth precisely. It is about 90% correct, and requires AutoCAD fine tuning and modifications to match Google Maps. Freelancer should have solid Mapping and AutoCAD experience. Please provide sample of previous work and experience with similar issues. An ideal sample would include a city viewed in Google Maps, with PROPERTY LINES SUPERIMPOSED, then, highlighting property when mouse hovers over said property. No previous experience with GIS, but spent the last three days learning, and now believe I have a solution for you, and in the process, learnt more about Qgis. Hello. That what I need to know first about this map is a coordinate system. I need to know that in order to set the right possition on the .kml file. Also I have idea to create polygons of these .dwg files and add specific attributes to the attribute tables. Thank you.

Hi! I am GIS engineer. I can do this task for you according to your requirements. Directly Converting autocad file to kml will not overlay onto google Maps because it is not Geo-referenced. Drop a message for more.

Thanks, Mayank Jain Relevant Skills and Experience Taking screenshot of the google map and placing as xref in AutoCAD works best to have everything perfect. I have done more than 100 site plans like this with good accuracy

the spatial irregularity is due to the difference of datums between autocad and google earth, the coordinates must be reprojected and spatially validated and if this is the case, reassign coordinates to the displacements

I use FME to create scripts to automatically geo rectify Autocad files to WGS84 format used by Google Earth. Validate data locally with KML files and reviewed on Google earth Pro. I do have questions regarding what the starting coordinate system used in the autocad example file provided was to help with the reprojection process. Thank you.
