A breakout board will be designed for image sensor MT9V124([login to view URL]) with all the necessary circuits. It will be interfaced to DM240001 preferably through UART or spi. This breakout board will be used as a reference design for the final product by our internal pcb designers. A reference firmware will be designed to be run on Explorer 16 with PIC24xxx PIM module. This firmware will provide all the necessary settings to initilize the camera chip -get a single frame image -get a part of a single frame image (any nxm sub-image) -get the images colored or grayscale (and black and white - if possible) -put the camera chip in a low power state -start the camera chip from the low power state PCB design will be delivered in an Altium project. All the components used in PCB design will need to be from well known brands, with SMT packages and currently in active state (no "obsolete" or "not recommended for new designs" parts) Firmware code should be well documented and modular. Payments for the prototyping will be paid to winning designer during development [login to view URL] designer will need to discuss his/her solution with us to finalize the design.

Hi I have more than 3 years of experience on Image sensors. I have worked on image sensors up to 20 MP. The sensor which you have chosen requires I2C interface for programming registers, Moreover it is very low resolution also ! I can design your Board schematic in OrCad and PCB in allegro. msg me for more Info. I can also suggest you good sensor based on your need.
