I have two websites set up as virtual hosts my Ubuntu server. One is a Wordpress web site and the other is just one I wrote in PHP. They are functioning fine except entering the site URL for the Wordpress site does not automatically go to [login to view URL]; additionally, for some reason, when you try to access [login to view URL] directly, it redirects to the root domain. Everything else works fine. I would also like to restrict access to a specific IP on the other (non-Wordpress) site by editing the conf file. I think these issues are with Apache and proper configuration. I need someone who is an expert with Apache and configuration to help me with this. Doing a few basic web searches will not fix these issues.
Hey! I have worked with Apache on both linux as well as on Windows and would love to fix these issues for you! Ready to discuss further. Awaiting your reply

Hello
I can help you to update your Apache configuration to fix the root level redirection as well as restrict access to your non-Wordpress site. I do have over 20 years extensive experience with Apache and its modules and have completed many projects with issues similar to yours, over many years.
If you would like to send through a copy of your main Apache conf file and related vhost conf files the way they are now, as well as what version of Apache you are running, we can confirm and I can complete the project for you.
I can also clean up and optimise the code where required to ensure your site runs as a high performance server, with specific custom developed Wordpress directives that can speed up your site performance up to 30% faster on some requests.
Thank you
Darren
Hello,
As a DevOps engineer, this will be an easy task for me. The wordpress issue could be due to directory indexing and restricting access can be done via allow deny rule. Check my profile, chat with me further and assign this to me.
Hey. I am Codrut a sys Admin with experience in setting and configuring web servers especially nginx and apache. Your issue is most likely due to the fact that .htacess file is not configured correctly (maybe due to missing mod_rewrite). I would love to talk to you more about this and help you fix the issue you have got there.
Hi,
We specialise in developing websites and mobile apps, but I was a linux sysadmin for 10 years and have had to fix apache bugs like yours countless times. I'm sure I could have it sorted for you quickly. I wouldn't usually bid on small jobs, but we're looking to get some feedback on our profile.
Thanks,
Tim
