I'm building a Wordpress webshop (Woocommerce plugin) with the Cherry responsive woocommerce theme (see: [login to view URL]). On the first page (homepage) there is a slider and under it some widgets that are possible (latest posts, etc.). The items I add in the 'latest widget' widget are width a width of 100% under each other. I need on the first page below the slider a common page that I can compose like the other pages (e.g. with 3 columns with wp-shortcodes). In the theme options I can choose 'static page' instead of latest posts and widgets as homepage, but then my slider dissapears. Solution (I think): make custom static page with the slider on it and below a page that I can see in 'pages' or an adaptation of the current page so I can add e.g. 3 widgets with html (I want three columns without page titles under the slider). This is a very small project/bugfix for somebody who knows wordpress files (I think 1-2 hours of work and testing).
