wordpress image slideshow

I have a series of 7 images that need to be placed in a small slideshow on the homepage of our wordpress site. The full size images and thumbnails (240px wide) are already available. Additionally, a separate page with a slideshow of the larger version of the images will be needed as well. the screenshot of our homepage contained in the Additional Files shows (outlined in red) where the small slideshow is to be positioned (and the content currently in that box will need to be moved down.
