The design consists of (3) simple and compact RFID readers (more in later stage of the project). When RFID Tag gets close to any of these RFID readers (about 50 cm), that reader should send SMS (through GSM system) containing the Tag number and that RFID reader number to a main PC (laptop or IPAD). This main PC contains a database that tells which RFID tag belongs to what station. There will be (2) stations (more in later stage of the project). Each one will have one PC (laptop or IPAD). For example, when Tag #1 which belongs to station 2 passes near RFID reader #3, reader #3 sends SMS to main server containing the message (Tag #1 and reader #3). The main PC will send the message (Tag #1 and reader #3) to PC in station #2 only.
The software in the RFID readers (may contain microcontrollers), the main PC and in the station PC’s should be clear and easy to be debug and understood. The design should be neat simple and good looking.
