I have and am currently supporting legacy VFP applications. I have developed and released commercial VFP applications in my development career. I also have extensive experience migrating VFP applications to latest technologies. I have down this migration in both a "phased" upgrade and "all at once" and would be very interested in discussing these options as well. Work includes, but is not limited to, the study, enhancement and re-programming of modules as would be necessary. The bid is for 4 weeks of work @ 40 hrs/week. If the work gets completed earlier, the balance hours (and $) would be refunded to the client. Before kick-off we would like to have a teleconference to align ourselves and set the expectations. There is no intention to change any functionality (or add new features in the first Phase). However, after the first phase we will make our recommendations.

I have a lot of experience maintaining and building upon existing Visual Foxpro projects. I do not understand this bidding mechanism here, but I can offer you an hourly rate of $70. Either that or we can discuss the work at hand and agree on a fixed price and a delivery date.
