Person fluent in Dari Persian and fluent in English (UK) to translate biography containing text, photos, charts and captions from Dari Persian to English (UK spelling and grammar). The book is written by a native Dari Persian speaker who lived in Afghanistan and worked as a medical practitioner. The text contains complex concepts and the person should be familiar with occasional terms used by a medical professional. In addition the translator should be familiar with Afghan place names, people names and colloquial terms in order to produce a robust English version containing the standard rendition of these elements. There are 45,000 words in addition to captions for about 200 photographs. Work needs to be completed over a 2 week period. The candidate should be proficient in MS Word. The document should be presented in a well formatted Word document, spelling and grammar checked. A sample of 5 pages of the work is required for review/quality checking at the commencement of the project before work progresses on the whole document.
