Full job description Job Description: IT Support / Helpdesk Technician - Onsite Reporting to: Digital Services Manager Job Type: Full Time Privately Funded Permanent Role Monday – Friday 37.5 Hrs per week The King’s Hospital School is looking for an enthusiastic IT Support / Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team. Candidates must have a keen interest in technology and IT support. This position will suit a recent graduate or someone currently working in an IT support role who is looking to expand their experience. Role and Responsibilities: This position primarily revolves around daily IT support tasks. While the list below gives a good idea of what's involved, there will be additional duties as required: Provide IT support for students and Staff, helping them with various technical issues. Assist teachers with classroom tech, such as projectors. Reset and manage passwords in Active Directory (AD). Create and manage new user, existing and leavers profiles in AD & Office 365 (O365). Perform basic Office 365 administration tasks. Handle desktop, laptop, and mobile device support requests. Address and resolve printing related issues. Lease with external IT support vendors regarding IT support issues. Assist in troubleshooting Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Set up of new devices and ensure they function properly. Skills and Experience: Experience in IT support in an educational setting desirable but not essential. Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks. Good problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility required to meet the school needs and calendared events. Education and Qualifications: Must have ICT System Support or equivalent technical qualification. Continuous Professional Development will be an ongoing part of this role.
