Hi, I have already made various projects on embedded firmware, as you may see from my previous feedback on Freelancer. I have worked on Microchip Controllers (32 bits) in C, using Harmony for UART, TCP IP, I2C, SD Card and more. On a Microchip controller I have also developed a Web interface using Microchip HTTP libraries. I have also worked on NXP (32 bit) and Renesas (8bit) controllers. For my own purpose I did some work on an ESP 8266 module, developing a small web interface to control a timer application. Currently I have at home various ESP 8266 modules (the old ones with 512 KB flash memory).
