MYOB Add on Application development advisory

We are looking for advice on the architecure and design of an Add On App for MYOB. Output of the engagement would be a report to outline the proposed architecutre and tools required to build the software. Can you give a fixed price to write the report. Application Overview: - Build an add on reporting tool over MYOB transaction and card data. - Tabbed GUI, each tab representing different reporting views of the MYOB data example attached 6 level 1, 6 level 2 tabs. - Initial Target Application: MYOB Account Right Premier and Account Right Live. We would want to develop the software in a flexible way where it would be efficient to extend the products across other SME accounting packages eg Quickbooks, Xero, etc. Architecture and Technology - to define: - Application framework (assume C#) - How to establish read-only connections to SSCE myox database (could be either 3.5 or 4.0). Is this via LocalDB or are file system ODBC connectors required? If API's are proposed, are there limits to the data you can access? - Proposed local reporting/analysis database technology (assume SQL Server Express but is it redistributable or does customer have to install? - How to build audit trail processes? Audit trail functionality to be able to report on changes to card data, so likely require a copy of some of the MYOB data to be built into the Application. Perhaps scheduled snapshots every 15 mins? - How would you package all application components into a single installer? - Built in graphical reporting & analysis; tool options? - User Interface, we will get this designed by a UX resource, what outputs are required for building this into the App \ above application framework? Image formats, pixel size, etc? - The app will require scheduled email functionality eg weekly alerts. - We would like to limit the product to connecting to only three MYOB company files per single user license. - Built in licensing mechanism to license for 1 year from activation, re-purchase required to get an additional year, product needs to not work if no valid license. We would like to get a ball park estimate of how many hours would be required to build the full application as outlined above?
