Need details about your requirement :- ========================== I just need some inputs from you about your requirement. 1) Application is for linux or for windows platform ? ( Because system calls and arguments changed according to operating system) 2) do you want this process to create memory stat for all the processes running on system , Or do you want to specify to 10 process to 100 or something like that. ======================= My design for your requirement as of now . 1) in configuration file you just need to define server ip addres and destination server ip addres to which you want to send this report . 2) port number . 3) logfile path 4) log file name.
