About the role: As our Social Media Manager, you'll be at the helm of the department, overseeing all our social media engagement and marketing strategies. We're on the lookout for someone who not only grasps the essence of our business but also has the vision to orchestrate our social media strategy in perfect harmony with our mission. You will work closely with members of our executive team. The ideal candidate will seamlessly switch between hands-on involvement, collaborative independent work, all while orchestrating a strategic symphony that propels Trade Journal to new heights of success. Our Ideal Candidate will be: Creative Visionary -Create and curate compelling, visually stunning, and engaging content for our social media platforms, specialising plans for each platform accordingly. -Plan and execute creative social media campaigns that complement our community, launches, promotions, and initiatives in order to increase brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate leads or sales. -Design social media calendars and be proactive in both staying on track and pioneering new avenues, rather than simply reacting to new trends. -Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social media channels. Strategic Talent -Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand's vision and goals. -Monitor and analyse social media metrics adapting strategies as needed to optimise performance and impact based on insights and KPIs, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and conversion rates. -Monitor and analyse the social media activities of competitors to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. -Ensure that all social media activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and platform policies. -Provide regular reports and insights to the management team on the performance of social media efforts and the ROI of social media activities. People Person -Create and post outstanding content on our digital platforms -Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 1 social media lead to consistently deliver outstanding content and results. -Collaborate with the leads of each social media platform to curate specialized plans. -Foster and engage with our online community to strengthen brand loyalty and drive meaningful conversations. -Be prepared to address and mitigate any negative comments or issues that may arise on social media. -Handle all situations professionally and efficiently.
