Hi, We are looking for someone to help us develop an app for our Shopify Store. There is an app that we could copy, and then make some adjustments: Parcel Panel by Upper Commerce. The Parcel Panel app creates a “Track my Order” page for customers to look at their order status. The good thing about the Parcel Panel app is that you can a create “custom order status” before we receive tracking information. This means that you can create stages of the order, before tracking is received. Our orders are custom made items, so there is a very long wait from order to tracking, we will create multiple stages of “custom order status”. These are the stages we want to make: (Please see attachment for reference) 1. Ordered (Automatic when ordered)) 2. Manual Review. (Manual with TAG) 3. At the workshop (Manual with TAG) 4. It’s showtime. (Manual with TAG) 5. Order ready (Automatic when tracking added to order) 6. In Transit (Automatic) 7. Out for delivery (Automatic) 8. Delivered (Automatic) You can create the above timeline in the Parcel Panel app. However, we want the app to slightly differently: We want to be able to update the “custom order status” manually by adding TAGS to the order within Shopify. The Parcel Panel does not allow us to update the custom order status using TAGs on Shopify. So that is the change we want to develop. Please let me know if this is something you could help us with.
