The most important quality is for you to be able to work off your own initiative, create your own leads and be able to communicate the benefits to the potential clients that you find. A convincing, energetic delivery is very important. Your location is unimportant as most countries around the world have a pub or bar industry. This app has the potential to revolutionize this industry around the world. The app has 2 sets of customers; 1) App Users - These users can find pubs and bars near to them, rate them, receive offers, check-in to locations as well as many other functions(you will not be selling to the users) 2) Pub/Bar Industry Players - These are pub/bar owners, managers and chain companies. They will be able to pay for the benefits of the app and see in-depth information about the industry as a whole, individual pubs/bars as well as advertise to users of the app. (you will be selling the benefits to these customers) The benefits of the app are revolutionary for this 2nd group of customers and will directly increase their revenue as well as profit which with the correct sales approach will sell itself as their competitors will also want to get their hands on the benefits of the app. I currently work in this industry and the app will change the way that the industry drives it's Customer Service and ensures offers are constant for their guests which drives footfall. There are also huge cost benefits for the app as it is free for users to download and there is no paper advertising to pay for. The payment is done on a 6 month contract-basis and the sales team will be working for commission on sales of the app-benefits and the commission also comes in 6 month contracts so for each sale, depending on the size of the contract(there are 2 packages), sales execs will receive monthly payments per sale for a minimum of 6 months(more if contract is renewed) so the potential for growing your own personal sales income is great.
