Tell me something new about Smooth Island (Tas)

I've been researching Smooth Island (Tasmania), and have put my research into the following two Wikipedia pages: 1) History of Smooth Island (Tasmania) 2) Smooth Island (Tasmania) I think I've found everything there is to find about this island, but I'm not 100% sure. The island has had two names. Between the early 1800s to about 1900, it was called Garden Island. After that it was called Smooth Island. (These dates are only very approximate, use as a guide only) I challenge someone to find some significant information which I haven't already written about. I would most like to learn something new about the history or ecology of the island, but would be happy with almost anything (except information from websites with artificial / auto-generated content). If your the information is already on either of these two Wikipedia pages, your information won't count. If your information applies to a different island by the same name, your information won't count. Hint: any search containing the following keywords are UNLIKELY to relate to the correct island: Tamar, Huon, Fremantle, Nuyts, Sydney, Launceston, Creek, Sands.
