Changing over from 4D Business Kit to OSCMax for our music download site. Need to import the 4D database into OSCMax database. Been looking at the EasyPopulate feature of OSCMax, but it may be a little beyond me to figure out the best way to do this. Categories, genres, and languages are involved in the transfer, along with download options.... which EasyPopulate does not handle. We have a tab-delimited export file of the 4D database, which has all the information needed. OSCMax separates this information into several tables. The 4D software is running on a Mac G4 server and the new OSCMax software is running on a new Lenovo server. (if it matters)

Dear Sir, OSCMax expert here. I can do it. Please take a look at my reviews. From require ment what I understand is that no theme/template/cosmetic changes are required. You just need to move the products, categories, product attributes, orders, customers etc. to OSCMax. I will use excel and/or custom script to make it ready for OSCMax. To port using custom script will require the old db to be imported into mysql database as it is. Then the script reads from that database and writes into OSCMax database. Thanks...
