Edit a WooCommerce Plugin to Customize Product Amounts

Needed: a Web Developer fluent in both PHP and JavaScript. Familiarity with WordPress and WooCommerce is a must. We have a WooCommerce store selling sod in rolls using the plugin WooCoomerce Measurement Price Calculator. Currently, the front end allows for the customer to input the square feet needed (M) which can be added to the cart as a single quantity, M square feet product. What we need is to have a field in the admin side that will contain the number of square feet coverage per roll, which differs across different sod types. On the front end that roll coverage number (R) will be used to calculate the number of rolls required for the M space the customer needs. An example: the customer has 24sq. ft. to cover. They enter 24 into the coverage input. If this particular sod type covers 10 square feet we should have 24/10 = 2.4. Since we don’t sell partial rolls we need to round up to the nearest whole number of roll, in this case 3. This 3 needs to be input as our quantity, so we need to stop the plugin from adding its automatic 1 quantity package of 24 square feet. The quantity should also be editable, in case the customer changes their mind. The price needs to be calculated from this number as opposed to its current source, the square feet, to ensure they are charged for the full sod roll. We also want displayed above the “Add to Cart” button the coverage equation. “Rolls (Rsq. Ft. each):” with the number pulled directly from the back end, followed by the rolls needed, the same number as the quantity but not editable. On the cart page it currently shows the square feet input and the quantity (which is always 1 regardless of square feet input). We want it to show the quantity and the coverage equation, with the numbers from our above example that would be: Quantity: 3, Coverage: 30sq. ft. The edits all need to be done within the plugin files as we sell other products in the store and don’t want their product pages affected.
