I need this to be completed in 10 days. I'm willing to pay $200-250.
The design for the site will already be made.
My client wants a site that uses Magento, but it will also have the functionality of a CMS. Magento has some cms functionality, but I'm not sure it will be able to handle all the things they need. If you can get it all to work just using in Magento then that is what they want. Otherwise we can use a CMS, but they don't want to use Joomla at all. So you would have to use Drupal, Wordpress, etc.
Again though they really would just want it to be done with Magento. Maybe you could use Magento but make a custom application for the carousel part.

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS DESCRIPTION and let me know if yoiu could do it. They are going to do the design.
Magento Website and CMS (they really just want it to be all magento no cms. i.e joomla, drupal, wordpress, etc.
* Favicon
* Two interior content pages
* Search engine friendly CMS
* Blog
* Search function – allow visitors to search the entire website for keyword terms.
* Email Subscribe – An option is needed for users to easily add their email
address to get added to the email list.
* Carousel on homepage that showcases the liquidations. It will be a carousel
slide show on the homepage to be able to be picked from different locations that
they input in the CMS. When you pick a location, that slide show carousel (with
3 pictures) appears with the liquidations they have at those locations. They need
to be able to change the pictures themselves in the CMS. Also, they want to be
able to click on one of the pictures to take them to the page about those
liquidations. So, they need to be able to add liquidation locations and pictures
themselves. The three pics for each liquidation location will slide like a carousel. That
What's this site [login to view URL] is similar to what they want (where on that page it has those tabs and the iphones with the background changing color, it the only moving part of that site) anyway the names of cities would be the "tabs" and there would be three pics in each tab that they would need to be able to update. They need to be able to add pics and change/add/delete tabs. When you click on the tab or space associated with the tab, it will take the user to a specific page on their website that they will be able to update.
* Contact Us form - This would be on every page.
* There will be about 3 product page layouts.
* ”Email this page” on every page
* There will be a drop down navigation menu.
Product Pages
* Pictures – All product pages should feature pictures and the ability for visitors to
view larger versions if necessary
* Sort-By Function – on product pages that list inventory items, the user should
have the ability to sort the inventory list by size, style, brand, and/or price.
* Comparison Items/May We Suggest – simple function showing users
comparable items to the one they are currently viewing (e.g. if browsing a ‘new'
product, feature a suggestion for the ‘used' version of that same product)
*Frequently Bought Together – Another function to be listed on product pages
showing items often bought together with the item the customer is currently
viewing
* They need to calculate the freight based on the location that the product is
being shipped from. On each product page, there will be a drop down list of
locations that have this product. They want the customer to be able to pick the
location from a drop down list. Then, based on the location that they picked,
when the customer enters a zip code to calculate the freight, it will give them a
result based on the zip code they entered and the location they chose. The
customer will be able to pick the location from a drop down list of about 5
locations. The calculator for the zip codes should be same calculator that would
typically calculate shipping charges. They only ship to within the US.
* They have items that can be shipped from different areas. For instance, the
brand new items are drop shipped so a freight calculation will possible. But, on
their used items, they will determine the shipping. We need it to where when
people add items to their cart, they will get a freight price for the new things and a
saying "freight charge to be determined" for the used items.
*On the product page, the part on the left, in the "narrow your Search" will have
different categories for the type of product.
* They have three different “types” of product pages. One is where the user will
be able to see the product, but it will not be able to add it to a cart. It will have a
“Call for more info” on the page. The second one is where there are the sortable
features in the “narrow your search” on the left hand side. The third one is where
they will not be able to sort on the left hand side because it will be a page with a
table and columns.

"Shopping cart"
* The shopping cart is not a traditional one because it will not be linked in to a
merchant account. They want the customer to be able to put the items in the cart
and then once they are done "shopping", they want to be able to email the info to
them so they can call the person and confirm the order. No payments will be
done online.
*
Other items
* The current website utilizes a real time inventory database system, developed
internally, that displays product inventories on the site. The inventory database
system includes prices, sizes, quantities, and brands for most of the product
line. It is in a SQL database. There will need to be a one time migration of the
data from the SQL database to the Magento MySQL database.
* A good percentage of ‘New' products that they carry are drop-shipped or quick
shipped directly from the manufacturer. Since these items are not in-stock, they
are not included in the inventory system. These products will, however, need to
be represented on the new site as part of their product line.
