I would like an application which can create and restore a backup copy of : emails, news messages, accounts, address book, message rules, blocked senders and signatures from the most used Email Clients: Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora ( Pro and Light ), Netscape Messenger, IncrediMail, Pegasus Mail, the Bat and PocoMail. The resulting backup copy should be stored in single file, and the application should ask the user if he wants to save the file at a specific location on a harddrive, floppy zip, or burn it to a cd. The backup should be optionally protected with a password. The application should have the style of a wizard: Step 1. it should ask first if the user desire to create a backup or to restore data from a backup copy. a) In case of creating backup: Step 2. Offer a list with email clients from which the user must select the application of which he wants to create the backup copy. Step 3. A list with identities is displayed in left, and in right should be a list with the items to be backedup from the selected identity ( the elements of the list are: emails, news messages, accounts, address book, message rules, blocked senders, signatures ); by default all should be checked. Step 4. Choosing the back up filename, and the folowing options are presented to the user: the backup is writed to a specified path on harddisk, to flopy or burned to cd. Also the user can optionaly enter a password to protect the back up copy. Step 5. A progress bar is displayed while the backup copy is created. b) In case of restoring from backup: Step 2. Ask the user for the back up file or cd. Step 3. A list with the identities to restore is displayed in left, and in right is shown a list with items to be restored in the selected identity. Step 3. A progress bar is displayed while the items are restored. At the bottom of the wizard should be four buttons: About, Back, Next and Cancel. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP ## Deadline information The application must be developed in Delphi.
