locations/regions - open to bidding

so basically, I need some kind of script so that my social (buddypress) users can add their current location. (I think one is already installed I just have no idea how to get it to do what I want!) this golf site is basically three things: 1. NEWS - an RSS feed display portal for other popular golf sites & posts all over the net 2. Social Network - lots of interactive and social features for users to add friends etc etc etc but the main part to this is for our users to be able to track game scores and setup "tee times" *specific start time etc and specific golf course to be played at... the idea is to see all updates in the users social feed whenever a user books something (and pays) OR when they "CHECK IN" to the specific golf course in our database 3. the directory of golf courses - the directory is a normal directory but with a twist. we use this database to setup teetimes for users with and directory listed golf courses will choose if they want to advertise on our website banners and specifically where like region wise once we have that installed and working we need to also clean up the code because it doesn't work on IE we need to make sure the search in the headerand on the home page will display registered golfers on top and below will be the golf courses - livesearch functionality as seen on the [login to view URL] original website.
