Hi there,
We've got stuck getting one of Google's gadgets running in our website. We need your help to get this gadget to work. As you'll know Google gadgets are self-contained javascript/html files that can be embedded in gadget containers such as iGoogle.

We're working with the Google Powermeter gadget which embeds nicely inside iGoogle. See that [login to view URL] for an example. The gadget xml is here.

We want to run this gadget on our own website. You job will be to get this gadget to run in a standalone website. You'll provide us with any instructions we need to get the gadget running on our own website.
What have we tried so far? We tried the gadget syndicator. But we are getting the access denied error you can see in screenshot2.png.

Basically the problem seems to be that we need to be passing an oAuth security token as part of the gadgets makeRequest calls. You can read about oAuth in gadgets here.

Supposedly the opensocial-jquery project supports oauth authentication for gadgets but the site is mostly in Japanese so we haven't got too far with it.

Another option is the Apache Shindig project which contains a javascript gadget container with oAuth support.

Let me know if you think you know the answer and can help us out.
Good luck,
