Migrate a simple bridge component from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5/3.x

I have an small Joomla 1.5.x native component that simply acts as a bridge to an external (not Joomla) PHP script allowing this script to be integrated inside of the Joomla Frontend and Backend (without using wrapper). This component is very small (just 20 files and a total of 30KB in size) and it just convert the URL's of the external PHP script links to the Joomla format. There's no other logic inside of this component as the real work is performed by the external script. The component source code is very well document and its reading is straightforward. I want this component to be adapted to Joomla 2.5/3.x I estimate the workload to be just a couple of hours for a practiced Joomla developer. Apart from the source code of the 1.5 component, I will provide also a test/develop environment with the actual component running and a fresh Joomla 3.x installation.
