I would like to force ssl and have it appear in the browser url for all pages of my Joomla Site. I have the ssl certificate with host gator setup already but when I tried to enter the code into .htaccess file it gave me a redirect loop error in the bowser when I went to the site. I think there is some bad code in the .htaccess file also there is some configuration through the Joomla backend that needs to be set in order to use ssl without issues. Other Joomla Issue: When a user makes a donation on my website they are sent an auto confirmation email which is managed though the Joomla backend. This email has a strange code string in the email subject and body that I cannot change. The code looks like this: aGVsbG93IHRoaXMgaXMg... Besides these two small tasks that I would like to fix ASAP, I would also like to have a person help me with my website with Joomla issues and configuration as an ongoing project so if things work well and you have fast communication and response time, then I will have many more tasks regarding this website and Joomla configurations to send you on an ongoing basis. In order to fix https at your site there is no need to change the .htaccess file. You must install the certificate at your server and then there are some configuration issues at joomla. About the email and the rest I need to take a look at it in order to tell you what is wrong with it. I am looking for a long business relationship.
