We have a system within osC that allows us to create purchase orders, manage them and push them to stock when they arrive. This works the way it was designed but we need modifications to is, one of the urgently (like today if possible).
1- Currently when a purchase order is in the "Ordered Status" there is the option to stock that order. When you are in this screen, all items are listed, one per line, product name, qty ordered, etc with the option to either push these to stock (if we received them) or push them to a new purchase order (in the case they did not arrive in the box to us). For task number one, we urgently need the ability to stock a *partial amount of these. So if I have 10 of an item on order, I can choose to stock all 10 (by not clicking anything), or (by entering 5 in the box and NOT checking the box) I can choose to stock 5 and push the remaining 5 a new purchase order or (by entering 5 and not checking the box) I can choose to stock 5 and the remaining 5 will be deleted. ** this item is urgent
2- When we begin or edit a purchase order, we currently select the manufacturer from the list then select the product from a dropdown list, we need the ability to search for a product (within that manufacturer) and add it that way.
3- We need to add in area in the manufacturers table and the manufacturers page in admin an area to place contact information for each manufacturer. When a purchase order is placed into ordered status, we need a pdf to be created that will contain the product name, vendor number, size, quantity, cost, comments, etc along with contact info for the manufacturer so that we can then either fax or email that order right away.
4- We need to add in a date expected field (optional) per product per attribute combination and per purchase order so that we know when things are arriving - this will insert this date into a new section in the products/purchase order tables and will display in [login to view URL] the purchase orders and in admin/stock.
