Login system (C#)

To design and develop a login system that will be used for portal. The login system is simple but there are certain best practices that should be followed when designing such systems. ## Deliverables Approach The database to be used is Oracle, you will need to follow the initial insert statements to create the database. You should program and test concurrently with an Oracle database (personal edition/ express edition). Database : Oracle 10g Programming Language : C# [login to view URL] latest version . Must be compatible with default IIS installed in Windows XP / Windows Server 2003 User Interface You will need to follow the user interfaces in the PSD files and adapt it to the design. Take note of instances of text field sizes and font sizes. Programming • You must use full OOP Concepts as well as proper validation and checking. Test cases will be provided for you. • Comments are required at least every 5 lines to explain in english what the code is doing. • You must use proper programming naming conventions. • You must follow the Model View Controller design. Security : Passwords are to be stored in MD5 Hashes in the database instead of clear text. Portability : You must provide details to : -Connection strings, Database names -Server Paths and other details required to install the program on another server. The project should be packaged as a .msi file for easy installation onto Windows XP with IIS. The installation /customization time should be less than 5 minutes.
