I have a time tracking php site that was custom made. We have a reporting page that outputs reports for us. All we need is to install a PDF creation tool for PHP. I have 2 preference - you can advise me which is better to use? (1) FPDF - [login to view URL] (2) TCPDF - [login to view URL] My Requirements (1) Good communication (2) PDF Exporting - Each PDF must have a header and footer (I have attached the HTML files) - See [login to view URL] (3) Body of PDF - The body of the pdf is where the report must go. I already have the script to generate the report in to HTML - All we want is to export this into PDF (4) Please see attached PDF Sample - This is how it should look like. -Server- Apache - Linux PHP 5.4.23 mySQL =Additional Work= I also need to fix a problem. Our timesheet for some reason when you try to enter an empty field comes up as NaN. I need to force empty field to have "0" or get rid of this error? See attached error.png. I believe all you need to do is put a php ELSE function if empty field, return 0 ==Final Note== This is a simple job, future work possible if you are good with graphs, we need to create graphical reports using graphics in future if you can do this please also let me know If you have any questions please let me know, if you need to see my time tracker code let me know? Hi Good day I propose a 3rd alternative, which has less problem than FPDF and TCPDF. My solution is MPDF. Thats light weight and consume less memory. I can do the reporting with MPDF and fix the reported minor bugs. Thanks Rinsad

Hi. PHP dev here. Can help you out. First of all, TCPDF vs FPDF, I would go with TCPDF, personal choise because I've already tried it. HTML to PDF conversion is pretty straightforward, but I do have a gut feeling telling me that you're using JavaScript stuff in your current HTML. You can't have it in PDF. I also have no Idea why would you want it there. That NaN thing, It means "Nat an Number", which is a common error message in .... JavaScript. Anyways, could I see your current HTML stuff. good day, your project is interesting. I would suggest to use tcpdf because it is more advance and has more configurationconfigurations. I have worked for same project as this before In my friend so this is pretty doable for me. let me know where could I start.
