PPC Structured Text Files

**Description:** Structured File functions POCKET PC 2002/2003. **_Specification_** **Platform:**Pocket PC 2002 and Pocket PC2003 **Development Platform:** Visual Studio 2003 for .NET (Pocket PC .Net Framework) The purpose of these routines are to open and save structured files to or from disk (RAM) in the POCKET PC. Structured files are plain INI text files with headers. **Text File Example ([login to view URL]):** [INFORMATION] Test Project [PARAMETERS] A0-01=100 A0-02=200 [END PARAMETERS] **Variable Structure** **typedef****struct** //prm_tag { **char** menu; // A in A0-01 **char** sub_menu; // 0 in A0-01 **unsigned** **char** para_no; // 01 in A0-01 unsigned int VALUE; // e.g. 200 in A0-02 = 200 } PARA; PARA P_tab[MAX_PARAMETER+1]; // Max_parameter defined in header file **Functions** **unsigned char save_file(filename);** Function saves the current variable structure to disk under the filename (includes path) and returns TRUE if successful. **unsigned char open_file(filename);** Function opens specific file using the filename (includes path) and returns TRUE if successful. Data in the file is automatically transferred into the variable **P_TAB** defined. The function also contains file error checking in case the text file is corrupt. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Pocket PC 2002/2003
