Design Pages for Info Display

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CODERS: For samples of your work, please do NOT submit your design portfolio or dozens of links to sites you have done. A few links to **sites/pages YOU have designed to display _database data_ or _similar information_** will be enough. This project is to design about 5 pages to display information from a large database. The key objective is to have an **attractive and easy to use** display. We have an interface now, but we think it could be better. The phases of the project are - Submit sample designs in image/JPG or HTML form - Revise design as requested by buyer - After client approval, convert design to HTML pages and external CSS style sheet - Revise if needed ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working HTML pages and style sheet in ready-to-use form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). Specifically, the pages to be designed are, - Home - Browse - top level - Browse - second level - Category Summary - Item Detail - Comment Detail In the zip file there is a URL which shows the live site. Coders are encouraged to visit the site to view how these pages work together. **Design Characteristics.** Pages should retain the current header and sidebar look as these are integrated with the rest of the site. Design changes are needed in the content area to present the information in a simple and easy to understand manner. Coder may choose to incorporate relevant graphics if desired. All text should remain text, i.e., no "text images". Key page headings will use H1 - H2 - H3 - H4 heading tags formatted by CSS. CSS to be in an external style sheet. The final pages are to be coded with sample data (not database queries) using straightforward HTML and CSS so that the existing site templates can be modified. Template modification, database coding, etc. is NOT part of this bid. Only HTML/CSS are needed. Coder is encouraged to suggest better ways to organize and display the data. ## Platform HTML/CSS that is compatible with all current browsers and will display properly in those browsers. Javascript may be used if needed - please inform Buyer **before** using any scripting.
