Dynamic PHP script to enter payables information for accounting purposes. This is to be somewhat like a spreadsheet, but more dynamic. Reports will be necessary by company(owner entity), file, due date etc, with totals, due amounts (monthly, weekly etc), the report will also have Payable Details, such as biller codes etc so payment can be made straight from a report. The system should also alert when bills are overdue, due in a week etc, from a main page that displays stats. Easy entry of payables is paramount, and easily printable reports, all other functions are secondary to this. The least amount of entering of information is also required. AJAX would be preferable to make sure that select boxes are dynamic and autofilling etc. Each Payable is attached to a File, (parent company/file it is assigned to), Type, Date, Due Date, Amount, Overdue Amount, Supplier, Account, Details, Inv No, Biller Code & Reference, Notes, Date Paid, Paid From (sometimes payment is made from more than one source), Receipt No. Paid Notes. Supplier will be chosen from a table. (Supplier Name, Account Will be chosen from a table, this is also linked to Suppliers because sometimes there are multiple accounts with each supplier (which means once a supplier is chosen, the list of accounts is limited based on the supplier) (this table has banking details for that account - Biller Code and Reference. File - a table of Files, like filing cabinet files, these are linked to an Entity Paid from - Chosen from a list of bank accounts, limited by File/Entity. Entities, each of these has one or more files associated with it, a file sometimes may be connected to multiple entities. (ie a property file may be owned by multiple entities) The idea is to have a remotely manageable source of payables etc.
