We are looking for a bookkeeper, with experience, to take over this role following the retirement of our previous bookkeeper after 12 years. The role will require you to provide accountancy services for two trading platforms. Firstly, Priority Insurance (PIB) Brokers is a fully registered Insurance Broker with the FCA. It has been trading on its present platform since 2001. Secondly, SafetyLet is a private limited company first registered in 2012. It provides referencing services and Rental Guarantee to Landlords and Managing agents. The respective turnovers are £150,000 for PIB and £170,000 for SafetyLet. You will be reporting to the proprietor of a small but friendly team, for both businesses and onwards to the Accountant in order to prepare year end accounts. The accounts will be drawn up on the office accounts of income and expenditure. The invoicing and receipting of income is done internally by the respective company’s own bespoke accounting platforms. We will be looking for payroll maintenance on two staff members and liaison with Now Pensions, over the respective staff members pensions schemes. We will require bi-monthly up dates, of the management accounts, of both businesses. In particular PIB has two reporting points, each year, to the FCA. These deadlines must be meet on each and every occasion.
