I have been doing patents and trademarks for over 13 years. I specialize in preparing patents for clients that are new to patenting. My flat rate for a provisional patent application is $550, which does not include the patent office filing fee of $65. My flat rate for a non-provisional patent application is $4,000 which does not include the patent office filing fee of about $525. My flat rate for a patentability search is $575. What I'll provide: - Advice on how to best protect your invention. - I'll prepare a quick provisional patent application (if that is what you desire) and seek your input before filing the application. - I'll make suggested changes to work with you to put your best foot forward on recording the details of your invention. - Claims are not required for provisional patent application, but I always draft at least one claim for your provisional patent application. - I file with the patent office directly with their electronic system.
