We are based in New Zealand and have an issue with our upstream ISP They say we must use communities to specify weather we want our ip address range to be advertised nationally or internationally. At the moment they are advertising nationally -and- internationally, but we only want them to advertise nationally. Here is the settings page provided by the upstream ISP [login to view URL] Whenever we add a community, it stops advertising the route to the upstream ISP. Can you please configure the BGP correctly so that it only advertises to national / telecom and national internet exchanges? I estimate this will only take 10 minutes, maybe more if it doesnt work and the problem is on the ISP end.
