Hi, I am a senior VB.NET developer based in Australia. I have 17 years professional experience working with VB/VB.NET in the POS/Accounting sector. I have previously written VB.NET code to create and submit Xero 'Contacts', and 'Bank Transaction' objects. These were exported from a legacy system to allow semi-automatic bank statement reconciliation against Xero's automatic bank feed data. I need to read up on the API further on some of the modules you require but wanted to introduce myself and my capacity with both VB.NET and the Xero API. The bank transaction 'object' within the Xero repository contains line items, I'm sure the Invoice and Purchase Invoice are very similar. I will read up on this in the next couple of days. As mentioned I have accessed existing, and created new Xero contacts (Debtors/Creditors) using the API to assign to the Bank Transactions. These transactions were processed against a single existing GL account that was created manually, but i'm sure the API allows these to be created programatically.
