Write a Business Productivity Game Application

Overview This simple, engaging productivity app is focused toward businesses where prospecting or cold-calling is essential. Such companies could include Real Estate offices, Investment or Insurance companies, etc., basically any company that requires its’ sales staff to prospect for leads. While prospecting or cold-calling can be a tedious and uninspiring task, this app is designed to encourage the user to prospect. Additionally, players will interface with other sales people, regardless of location, creating friendly competition and accountability. Game “Look” The game should have an easy user-friendly appearance, usability and be directed toward users with different levels of gaming experience. While it is essentially a game and should be vibrant and stimulating, it should also appeal to business people who would otherwise not necessarily be attracted to using game applications. In other words, it should have a good blend between a functional business app and a fun prospecting game. Game Function This 1st version must look and feel simple. Basically the user makes a call and clicks on an icon to score points or dollar amounts. The user will be able to invite “friends” through social media (Facebook, Linked-In etc.) to compete and a leader board or scoreboard will track progress. Points or dollars earned can be used to purchase fictitious items such as cars, houses and trips. Hopefully this gives you a better understanding of where we would like to go with this app. This could be extremely useful for businesses to increase sales and heighten moral and effectiveness of their sales force. Additionally, this app could be easily directed toward the individual user at a later point for anyone who uses prospecting as a business resource.
