1. Bluetooth beacons are mounted on moving equipment 2. Bluetooth beacons have a limited connecting radius of 1-2m ONLY 3. Person with smart phone and Bluetooth On approaches the beacon. 4. When close enough Beacon connects to person’s phone app. 5. The Smart Phone APP takes the GPS data from the person’s smart phone and places it on Map. a. Note : Maybe the person needs to be within the radius for a certain amount of time (3-5min) to place the GPS data on the map or b. To receive a confirmation about the pump location being placed on the map before he can move away from the beacon. 6. Any person can open the app and see the location on the map of all moving equipment (beacons).
