Hope all is well with you. I am ready to ask you for a new effort. It is similar to before but a different issue has arisen. The input pulse is the 50usec ramp. The output pulse is the one with the leading undershoot/ overshoot. The circuit is a simple planar inductor on the primary side and a simple transformer on the secondary side. This is very similar to what you worked on before but I would like you to take a new and different look at it. In this case I am not trying to increase the pulse width. I need to shape an input signal that eliminates the leading undershoot/overshoot. This appears to be caused by the phase reversing in the magnetic circuit. Ideally the solution needs to be implemented with components that are less than 24 mils in height when surface mounted. And with fewer components then your previous solution required unless absolutely necessary.

Hello, I would like to apply for your job, 'Electromagnetic components expert consultant'. I am a Ph.D. student in electrical engineering and a former RF engineer in the aerospace industry. I have over 10 years experience working with RF wireless and communications systems, and in designing wideband microstrip devices and antennas in ADS and HFSS, over a range of 1 MHz to 50 GHz.
