Track visitor's mouse movements, scrolls and clicks

Hey there! :) Tracking mouse movement with raw JavaScript and sending it back to a server should be fairly straightforward. I am curious though if you already have something set up server side to accept that sort of data? Likewise, do you have a specific format in mind in how you'd like the data to be structured? Interestingly enough I built exactly this for my previous company, creating tracking events for visibility of items too if that's of any interest? E.g. this item is scrolled into view, this item has been in view for X seconds on top of the usual mouse movements etc. Should be no issue running this on a mobile device - certainly one running Chrome or Safari, not sure on Mobile Edge, but I don't see why not, one limitation is that events occurring over embedded iFrames are opaque to the main page, so that isn't possible to track. I guess the question on other browser tracking is how far back do you want to go in terms of the browser revision? Just not sure how much extra effort will be needed dealing with older versions of IE.
