280015 Website for Sportsman

01/11/2009 A) I would like to start a website targeted towards sportsman (hunters and fisherman) so that they can submit blogs, upload pictures, find guided hunting and fishing trips, upload hunting and fishing tips/suggestions, find and upload game and fishing recipes, shop for hunting and fishing goods, or just advertise sporting goods and services. I want a competition/contest link that I will explain later in the proposal. I want people to be able to upload pictures and have the ability to email them to people. The emails should have a link imbedded in the email that would bring people to the sportsman website. General people can setup a free account with their name and email address. I would like sections for advertising such as Google ads. I want to site to “flow” easily so that anyone can use it and people can move around the website easily. I want to maximize traffic on my website as much as possible. When people or vendors setup an account, they should be asked if they want to be notified by any emails. I should be able to get a list of email addresses who have an account and ones that don't want to receive any emails. B) I would like a link on the website for “Guided Hunts” where I can post different websites for hunting ranches or individuals/businesses who offer guided hunting trips so that hunters can find different hunting ranches that offer hunting and fishing trips. Once people click on “Guided Hunts” It will bring them to a page where they can select United States, Canada, South America, Mexico, or Africa. Then, if they click “United States” then they can select one of the fifty states listed such as Louisiana or Texas. Then it will list different individuals or businesses that do guided hunts within the country or state that they selected. I also want to ability to be able to just list all of the guided hunting individuals and/or businesses in alphabetical order. Maybe you can make it to where they search my site for an individual name or business that they are looking for. When clicking on this listing for the individual or business that guides hunting trips with either 1) direct the person directly to the website for the guide (individual or business) or 2) simply list the name of the individual or business with their contact information such as address, phone number, email address, etc. This second option will be for individuals and business that do hunting guided trips who do not have websites for the link to direct people to. Maybe this section can post blogs to talk about the different “Guided Hunts”. C) I would like a link on the website for “Guided Fishing” where I can post different websites for fishing Guides (people who bring people to good fishing spots and help them catch fish) so that fisherman can find different individuals and businesses that offer fishing trips. Once people click on “Guided Fishing” It will bring them to a page where they can select United States, Canada, South America, Mexico. D) I want a blog or forum section where people can type different blogs and also have the ability to email the blog to other people which would get other people to visit the website.(a link to the website should be in the email) A suggestion is to have a link for “forums” or “blogs” that would bring people to a page where they can select different blog sections such as “deer blog”, “hog blog”, “turkey blog”, “elk blog”, “bass blog”, “catfish blog”, etc. I would also like a section in the blogs where hunting and fishing clubs can setup their own account and members of those clubs can post blogs. For example, The “Ten Point Buck Hunting club” can setup a blog account where all of the members of this club can post blogs under that section. I would also like for people to be able to upload their hunting/fishing pictures which may be associated with their blog. E) I want a section for “Recipes” where people can upload or type in different recipes for wild game and fish. This section can also have a link for restaurants or game & fish food suppliers that serve wild game/fish. On the restaurants section, I would like an easily seen icon where restaurants can click to setup an account and then their information/link would be on my website. F) I would like a link on the website for “real estate” where I can post different websites for people selling hunting and fishing real estate. This section should have an icon for different real estate people can setup and account and list their information/link. G) On the website, I would also like to have a shopping page where they can type in a keyword name for something they are looking for (hunting/fishing items) and it would search certain companies to buy from. These companies would be sportsman companies like Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, Academy Sports, Primos, Midway, etc. (similar to [login to view URL] ) H) I would also like to be able to get key statistical data such as how many people are visiting the website and how many people are using the shopping option. I would also like to know how many emails are being sent. You may have other ideas to increase the amount of traffic on the website. I will probably have to see how long a vendor account link was added to the website. I) I would like a Competition/Contest section where people can upload their killed game or catched fish. In this section, I would like people to be able to vote on the best picture. This competition/contest section could have different sections to upload pictures such as “best buck”, “best turkey”, “best hog”, “best freshwater fish”, “best salt water fish”. Then people in the public would vote on what they think is the best picture for a section and the picture)s)with the most votes wins. I will need to be able to see which picture has the most votes. When someone uploads his/her picture, I would like an icon where they can email other people and let them know to vote for that picture. The email can have a link in it which will bring them to the competition/contest section. J) I would like a link/section for Hunting Vehicles and then Fishing Boats where people can post blogs about different hunting vehicles such as ATV''s, Trucks, or Boats. In this section I would like for different vehicles manufactures, ATV dealers, or boat dealers to post their information/link for advertising. K) I would like a link/section for Taxidermy where people can post blogs about different taxidermy companies. I would like an icon where different taxidermists can setup an account to post their information/link for advertising their link on the website. After I came up with the idea of what type of site that I wanted, I searched the internet for any similar websites and found two or three of them. In all of the sections listed above (A-K), I would like an icon where different individuals/businesses can click to sign up to advertise their name or business.
