hi i have good knowledge of hibernate mapping . with hibernate 3 an 4 you do not need to create seperate mapping files, mapping can be done via annotation. And that i the cleanest solution. an yes the basic configuration can be changed by changing jar file. If you have issue with the mapping ,then i have to see how you have mapped your java objects. you database structure. I am sure i will be able to solve your problem. I have not seen your code .
