I have written a book aimed at youth readers. I looking for a 11 illustrations (10 to be place in text areas, one for cover art). Illustrations in the form of B&W line art (like pencil drawings) would have a look similar to those used for the classic book charlotte's web. The about half of these would be fairly detailed and the others would be less so (more broadly brushed illustrations). I am looking for high quality illustrations, so please send me samples of previous work and do not send me generic responses like "We can do this". If you have a quality portfolio to share with me, I would love to use you. For each image, I will send you a full description of what I am after, samples (if needed) regarding how I see characters or surroundings and some text from the book describing the situation. I would work with you to keep the re-works down to a minimum. All rights (Digital, print, etc) for images will be conveyed to me. Thank you for looking - hope to hear from you.
