Job Overview We are looking for a Web Designer / Front-End Web Developer who has the ability to use professional design with proficient front-end development. The main job will be applying styles and markup to new and existing templates for a new Web broadcasting website still under development. Duties and Responsibilities Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to: Rapid development of custom code for use on the company’s broadcasting sites Continue design and front-end development on new and existing templates Optimize existing markup for speed and scalability Development and re-design of website pages at the direction of the Director of Web Development Take ownership of project needs, tasks, and communications to ensure timely and efficient completion of assignments Passion, Integrity and Energy! Qualifications Required: Expert knowledge and experience writing HTML5 and CSS3 Intermediate knowledge and experience writing JavaScript/jQuery Intermediate knowledge of current SEO principles Able to work in a team environment and collaborates well with others Excellent communication skills, and can articulate complex ideas to non-technical staff Is a self-starter with strong self-management skills Can organize and manage multiple priorities Able to consistently meet project deadlines Helpful, but not required: Web design experience, without a designer Basic understanding of PHP Basic understanding of SVN Link for kickstarter project: [login to view URL]
