We are looking for a Food Scientist to help us develop and stabilize flavors for our drinking and beauty waters.
Basic Responsibilities:
• Evaluating the nutritional value, colour and flavour of the product.
• Testing samples for particular types of moulds, yeast and bacteria that may be harmful
• Ensuring that manufacturing processes conform with government, processing, consumer and industry standards
• Exploring alternative manufacturing methods
• Coming up with new innovative flavours
• Working closely with other production staff including microbiologists, engineers, packaging specialists and buyers
• Establishing low-cost wholesale production methods
• Investigating and setting standards for safety and quality.
